University of Kent -England

University of Kent Canterbury was renamed University of Kent in the year 2003. it is a plate glass campus university. The University is divided into four colleges: Eliot, Rutherford, Keynes and Darwin. It is a higher education institution of U.K. funded by Higher Education Funding Council for England.

ACADEMICS:
The University is divided into three faculties, Humanities, Social Sciences and Science, Technology and Medical Studies [STMS].These faculties are further divided into 18 departments. Both Full time and Part time courses are offered in the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Apart form these there are Foundation Courses, Day schools and Pre-retirement courses. The university provides wide range of research facilities.

There are special scholarships and funding for the overseas students like, University of Kent International Office Overseas Scholarships, University of Kent Loyalty Discount, Funding and Scholarship Opportunities for Postgraduate Students, Kent Business School Undergraduate Scholarships, Computing Laboratory Scholarships etc

FACILITIES:
The university library known as the ‘'Templeton Library'' with over one million books, journals, archive materials, videos and DVDs. It also has the British Cartoon Archives.

The famous Gulbenkian Theatre is inside the University along with a cinema hall. The sports centre in university of Kent is one of the best in England. It has accommodation facilities in the respective colleges for the students.
