- The university has modern student residences with a capacity to accommodate 3,500 UK and international students. Accommodation is self-catered flats with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Private accommodation is also arranged by the university through a local agent.
- The Leeds Metropolitan University offers a limited number of scholarships for overseas students enrolling for a full-time taught course at the university. The awards consist of reduction in tuition fees for one academic year only. Government grants are also available for UK and EU students.
