Sotheby's Institute Of Arts - England

The Sotheby's Institute Of Arts, being thirty seven years old was established in order to prepare the students for the international world of art. The Institute has three separate campuses at London, New York, and Singapore. Each Campus has different programmes to offer. In London, the Institute is based in the centre of Bloomsbury and offers master degrees in six subject areas. They are:

Art Business,

Contemporary Art,

Fine and Decorative Art

Photography,

East Asian Art, andContemporary Design

Special One Semester Programmes and a number of Summer Short Courses are also organized in London along with some other events like the Contemporary Art Fair Travel Programmes. In New York, the Campus is located in the centre of Manhattan. The Sotheby's Institute here offers three Master degree courses:

• Art Business,
• Contemporary arts,
• American Fine and Decorative Arts.

Finally in Singapore the campus is located at Lassale-Sia College Of the arts and it offers two Master degree programmes in:

• Art Business and
• Contemporary arts.

Scholarship:

All the Master degrees are covered with the provision of Scholarship. The scholarship varies from 30-50 percent of the entire post graduate tuition fees. The two main types of Scholarship are open scholarship granted to all new entrants in need of financial support and Sotheby's Scholarships. There is a range of Sotheby's Scholarship meant for students who are the resident of a particular country.

Accommodation:

The institute provides the students with a number of options to choose from for accommodation purpose. There are arrangements for rental flats and studios. For example the summer school students in London can also stay at Wigram House in discounted rates. The students can also settle in myhotels.
