The Bath University was originally the Bristol Trade School in 1856. It was established as a university in 1966. The national newspaper guides in the UK rate the Bath University in the top twelve UK universities. The university has an international reputation for research.
The main campus of the Bath University is the Claverton campus, located in the city of Bath, about a mile away from the centre of Bath. The other campus is the Oakfield campus located in Swindon.
