Essex University - England

The Essex University is a plate glass university,which received its Royal Charter in 1965.The University's main campus is located in Wivenhoe Park in the county of Essex.Apart from this,the university has its campus in Southend and Loughton.The University of Essex has nineteen departments which are well known and belong to the best in England.
The departments span from Humanities, Social Sciences, Science, and Engineering and also from Economics, Political Science, Sociology and Language and Linguistics.The University offers these courses at undergraduate,post graduate and research levels.The research works are carried out in the Human Rights Centre,in the Institute for Social and Economic Research and many more of such high level research centers.
A number of partner institutions are also an integral part of the Essex University.The accommodation facility offered by the University is worth a mention which has all the modern facilities and are available both on and off campus.The University has a rich collection of books for its students.They can also avail the same facility online by consulting the online catalogue (open-access labs).


The Essex University offers various scholarships to talented post graduate students,particularly to PhD students so that they can study at the University of Essex.The scholarships are awarded annually by the respective departments to the students of academic excellence.
