Huddersfield University - England

The University of Huddersfield was established in the year 1841 and was known as the Huddersfield Mechanics'Institution.The University is located in the town of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. One of the most interesting features that attracts the students of the university is that the university supports and sponsors the local Rugby League team,namely Huddersfield Giants.The University offers a wide range of courses at undergraduate,post graduate and also on part-time basis.The courses include Art, Design and Multimedia, Business, Management, Law and Marketing,Computing and IT,Engineering and Technology,Health and Sports,Psychology, Criminology, Sociology and Politics Social Work and Community Studies.The library of the University of Huddersfield help students carry forward their educational careers by giving them all sorts of assistance with books,journals and online resources.Students can use the computers in the library (www.hud.ac.uk/cls/ ).The University of Huddersfield recommends the Storthes Hall Park Student Village and Ashenhurst Student Houses as their preferred and approved accommodation site.These are privately owned and are independent of the University,inclusive of all the modern amenities and facilities that are important for the students.The university offers scholarships to the newly enrolled students as an encouragement to perform better in life.Scholarships for international students are also on the cards for the university.The scholarships are granted at both undergraduate and post graduate levels.
