Bevill State Community College Fayette Campus

Bevill State Community College was formed in 1992. This college has campuses in four areas. The four areas are Fayette, Hamilton, Jasper and Sumiton.

The Fayette Campus of Bevill State Community College began as Brewer State Junior College in 1969. The College was first accredited in December 1973. The institute has seen tremendous growth over the last 23 years. The campus is located on approximately 40 acres in northern Fayette County.

Facilities at the Fayette campus include a residence hall, gymnasium, arboretum, and observatory. There are 28 classrooms/labs available for academic, certificate and continuing education programs. An off-campus location provides classrooms which are used for business and industry training, technical education, and community service programs. The Fayette Campus enrolls approximately 900 students. The number of part time and full time employees is 150.
