University of Sudbury - Canada

University of Sudbury originated in1913 (Originally called the College du Sacre-Coeur until changing its name to the University of Sudbury in 1957). The University of Sudbury is a bilingual university dedicated to the Catholic tradition.


University of Sudbury is an undergraduate, liberal arts university, committed to the provision of education to both Native and Non-Native students

University of Sudbury has provision for bilingual (English and French) courses and programs leading to a bachelor's degree, either general or with honours, in

  • Native Studies
  • Philosophy
  • Religious Studies
  • Theology

Undergraduate opportunities in Communication publique and in Folklore, both of which are instructed entirely in French, are also provided.

University of Sudbury accords the facility of housing to its students; Lucien Matte Residence is home to 174 men and women in 92 single and 41 double bedrooms. University of Sudbury felicitates its students with Scholarships and Bursaries.
