If you are a police officer, fire responder, or a veteran who has served in Iraq or Afghanistan, Benedictine University is offering free or discounted tuition rates. Fire and police first responders, or Illinois veterans serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, can earn their undergraduate degrees from Benedictine University for free, or their graduate degrees at half the usual rate. *Please note, this program requires on-campus attendance, but I was so impressed by Benedictine’s program, I thought I would mention it for readers living near the campus who may qualify for this program.

Benedictine University offers adult-accelerated programs that students can complete as quickly (or slowly) as they choose. Students usually take one or two courses at a time so that they can continue to fulfill obligations outside of school.
